The medical assistant students along with Lisa Gunderson, faculty, and Amanda Welu, Medical Assisting Program Coordinator, partnered with Memorial Blood Centers to volunteer at the Minnesota State Fair to perform blood typing for Minnesota State Fair-goers!
Their booth was located in the Kare 11 Health Tent at the Great Minnesota Get-together. Breaking the 2016 overall of attendance of 1,943,719, The Great Minnesota Get Together overall 2017 attendance was 1,997,320!
